Life Legacy
Rita M. Riencheld, 71, of Baltimore passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
Rita was a member of the Thurston United Methodist Church. Rita took great pride in over 30 years and countless hours involved with Fairfield County 4-H as an advisor, at the Fairfield County Fair, and cooking at camp. She also loved cooking and working with Fairfield County MRDD at Forest Rose School and Fairfield Industries. Rita was also proud to be crowned as the 2005 Fairfield County Mom of the Year
Rita is survived by her husband, Ray Riencheld; daughters, Risha (Tom) Wagner and Randa Gallagher; granddaughter, Mikaela Wagner; brothers and sisters, Kermit (Joanne) Kemmerer, Janet Kemmerer, Larry (Carolyn) Kemmerer, Russ (Carolyn) Kemmerer, Rick (Nancy) Kemmerer, Ken (Rita) Kemmerer, Jon Kemmerer, Marvin (Charlotte) Kemmerer, Joe (Diana) Kemmerer, Bob (Jan) Kemmerer, Randy (Yvonne) Kemmerer, Robin Kemmerer, and Cindy Steckenrider; aunt and uncle, Betty and Don Bowman; nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Kemmerer.
Funeral service for Rita will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at the Thurston United Methodist Church, 2015 Main St. NE, Thurston, Ohio 43157, with Reverend Dr. Rebeka Maples and Reverend Alice Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 PM Saturday and 1-4 PM Sunday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130, also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
