Biography

Hildred M. Sanders, 97, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Pickering House.

Hildred is survived by her son, John W “Bill” Sanders; grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Bryon Smith, Bob “Pork” Smith, Shannon Welch, and Shyane (Trish) Welch; great grandchildren, Megan Fausnaugh, Heather Fausnaugh, Mason Smith, Cody Welch, Emma Welch, Wyatt Welch, Shannon Welch, and Brandy Welch; sister, Mildred Laughrey; and several nieces and nephews.

Hildred was preceded in death by her husband, John Sanders; daughter, Mary Lou Sanders; parents, Andy and Lanie Ann Wade; and brothers, William Delbert Wade, Irvine Wade, and John Wade.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service.
