Alberta B. (Jackson) Elkins

Alberta B. Elkins, age 96 of Lancaster died on January 12th, 2023 at her residence.  She was born to the late William and Bertha (Miller) Jackson in Columbus, Ohio on December 20, 1926.  She retired from the offices at Eastern Oil, was a past member of several organizations including the Gahanna Community Congregation Church, the University Chapter of Eastern Star #462, the Bremen Senior Citizens, the Rush Creek Grange #2149, and the OliveDale Senior Center.  Alberta was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, wife, and just an enjoyable person. Her love for life and personality will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Rick) Graybeal and Wanda West; grandchildren, Andy Graybeal, Elizabeth (Jeff) Calhoun, and Sarah (Patrick) Baxtar; great grandchildren, Rowan and Meadow Calhoun, Ori Graybeal, Steven Dukes, and Beck Baxtar; sister, Diane (Steve) Vaughn; nephew, Wayne Elkins, and several other nieces and nephews.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Elkins; grandson, Shawn West; and sister, Zedra (Ralph) Elkins.
