Alice Marvene Stahly

LANCASTER: Alice Marvene Stahly, 100, of Lancaster, went home to be with God on Monday, January 12, 2026. Marvene, as she preferred to be called, was a devout Christian. Marvene was born in Bremen, OH to the late Ida and John Groff. She was a fulltime mother and homemaker. She valued education for her children and made sure they had what they needed to succeed.

Marvene is survived by her son, Patrick (Barbara) Stahly; daughter, Susan (Robert) Andrle; daughter-in-law, Ellen Stahly; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Brian (Pam), Michael Jr. (Lauren), and Zachary (Juliana); great grandchildren, Five, Ariadne, Cecilia, Calvin, and Bernard; brothers, Carl Groff and Richard Groff; and sister, Betty Barber.

Marvene is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn F. Stahly; her son, Michael Stahly and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Stahly.

Caring Cremation® has taken place. A private inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
