Angela Scott

Angela (Barnhart) Scott, 49, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Everyone she met soon became a friend of Angela’s. She enjoyed volunteering, helping to support and share with others through various pain groups and other groups.

Angela is survived by her husband, Greg Scott; children, Misti (David Dorton) Barnhart and Michael Scott; grandchildren, Jamie, Dustin, and Peyton “Otis” Dorton; parents, Sandra Imler and Robert (Diane) Barnhart; siblings, Rod (Kimberly) Barnhart and Christina (William) Black; and very special friends, Donna Ryan, Kim Leisure, and Teresa Azbell Martin.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Edgar Imler; and parents-in-law, Betty and Herb Scott.

Funeral service for Angela will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. In honor of Angela, please wear something purple for the service. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
