Arlene (Leslein) Vest, “R”, 88, passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

Arlene was a retired elementary school teacher.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Phil; daughter, Sherrie; and parents, Leroy and Lenora Leslein.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelda Calland; brother, Bob Leslein; grandchildren, Jen, Chris (Jess), and Cody Calland; great grandchildren, Case, Cruz, and Kingston Calland; her trusty canine companion, Lucy; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

A memorial service to honor Arlene will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:30 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.
