Betty Bope-Cotterman

Betty Jean Bope-Cotterman, 67 of Canal Winchester, Ohio former resident of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a graduated of Lancaster High School Class of 1969.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Angie Cotterman of Boston, MA; son, Zach Cotterman of Marietta, OH; grandchild, Maryann Bowman; brothers, Clarence E. (Carolyn) Bope, Jr. of Lancaster, OH and Paul (Connie) Bope of Wichita, KS; sisters, Alice (Gary) Oiler of Las Vegas, NV and Mary (Gregory) Stanton of San Diego, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cotterman, daughter, Sabrina Cotterman, parents, Clarence E. and Alice M. Bope, Sr.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, OH. Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OH 43130.
