Betty Dell (Nutter) Butler, 83, of Lancaster passed peacefully, with her loving family by her side, after a long battle with diabetes on, Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
She retired from Ohio Bell and was a member of the Pioneers. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her humor helped provide laughter to everyone.
Betty is survived by her husband, John Paul Butler; children, Charla (Matt) Connors, Paula (Mark Orcutt) Corbett, Nola (Richard) Clark, Emil “Pete” Butler, and Johnny Butler; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Avis Nutter; and brother, Robert Nutter.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made in memory of Betty to the American Diabetes Association.
