Boivin J. Hoshor, 80, of Baltimore, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at his home.

Boivin was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Baltimore. He was also a member of the Baltimore Masonic Lodge #475 F&AM; Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus; Tarhe Shrine; VFW Post 3761 – Life Member; Baltimore Museum Corporation; Baltimore Lions Club, Baltimore Festival Association, Baltimore Model T Club; and the Community Improvement Corporation.

Boivin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary E. Hoshor; daughter, Tammy M. (George) Scheidegger of Oconomowoc, WI and twin grandsons Cole and Reid Scheidegger; son, Brian T. Hoshor of Baltimore and granddaughter, TeAnne Hoshor; brother, Carl R. (JoAnn) Hoshor of Baltimore; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lela (Fisher) Hoshor; brother, Howard Hoshor; and an infant sister.

Caring Cremation has taken place with the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 5-8 PM Wednesday at Trinity United Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Basil Memorial Cemetery, Baltimore with Reverend Jill Dunlap officiating. Masonic services will be performed by the Baltimore Masonic Lodge and Veteran services performed by the Baltimore VFW.
