Brian J. Darfus, age 55 of Lancaster, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born to the late Patricia Hyde Darfus and his father James Darfus on March 26th, 1966 in Lancaster. Graduated from Fisher Catholic High School in 1984. He was a 4-year letterman at football, basketball, and track. "Flyin' Brian". He played football at Capital University and went on to graduate from Kent State. He was a Realtor and Broker for 32 years whose vibrant love for life and raw, quick wit will be greatly missed by all.
Teacher, mentor, and cherished friend to so many. He always had the answers and if you asked him, he was always right!!
He is survived by his father, James R. Darfus, his uber driver, baby's mama, and partner in crime, Bethany Alexander; children, Braven Darfus, Ashley (Christopher Boring) Darfus-Boring, Kaleb Darfus, Isaiah Darfus, Kylie Darfus; and Chasidy Darfus; grandchildren, Maddox Darfus, Dominic and Michael Pridemore; siblings, Donna (Jerry) Clark, Mark (Charlene) Darfus, Mary (Chris) Pierce, Patrick Darfus, Pam (Paul) Friesner, Greg Darfus, Julie (Kelly) Morgan, and Jessica (J.J.) O'Rielley; "Son at heart", Derrick Darfus; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Darfus, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew.
