Brian Morse

Brian “Cowboy” Morse, 70, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at his ranch in Groveport.

He was born March 8, 1955 in Ashtabula, OH to the late James and Annetta Morse.

Brian had many roles throughout his life: a machinist, artist, scuba diver, volunteer fireman, lifelong horseman, as well as a dedicated father and brother.

Cowboy’s passion and proficiency for horses was evident to all that met him. He began riding at a young age, and horses gave him a sense of joy that he loved to share with others.

He is survived by his girlfriend Anita Biehl; his daughters Melanie Morse and Angela (Shawn) Mann; grandson Jayden Lewis; sister Ginny (Rob) Ruyf; and brothers Bill (Dawn) Morse and Jimmy (Tammy) Morse.

Preceded in death by his parents; sister Janette Morse Phillips; and brothers Tim and Eric Morse.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Shamrock Club of Columbus, 60 W Castle Rd. Columbus, OH 43207, from 11:00AM - 3:00PM.
