Candy Lynn Paskins

Candy Lynn Paskins, 56, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born on April 8, 1970, in Lancaster, Ohio.

Candy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was known as the family babysitter, always taking care of others. Candy loved going to yard sales and auctions, scavenging for things she probably didn’t need. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandkids and her 2 dogs, Timmy and Cheeks.

Candy is survived by her loving husband, Jason; children, Brittany (Travis) Saylor and Eric (Holly) Smith; grandchildren, Gauge, Maxi, Kenna, Ashley, Brianna, and Ruby “RuRu”; siblings, Ronnie, Donnie, and Darlene, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Tony; sister, Brooke Bradley; mother-in-law, Sue Lutz; brother-in-law, Rod Paskins; and grandparents, Marguerite and Joseph Hesler.

Caring Cremation® has taken place through Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service for Candy will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
