Carol L. Brown

Carol L. Brown, 80, of Lancaster passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born to the late Carl and Evelyn Speckman on April 3, 1945.

Carol enjoyed playing the piano and singing with the Sweet Adelines woman’s group. She was active in the Broad Street and First Presbyterian churches, and help in the remodeling of the Lancaster Methodist Camp Ground gift shop and Creighton Corner.

She is survived by her siblings, Carl (Mary) Speckman and Connie (Larry) Harmon; nieces and nephews, Carl Speckman Jr., Matt Speckman, Jere (Karen) Dishon, and Brent Lambert; and great nieces and nephews, Brevin and Brooke Lambert.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Kelly Lambert; and her parents.

A funeral service officiated by Chaplain Mark Linn will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 12 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in Glenn Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg.
