Carol Russell

Carol Russell 66 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at the Pickering House. She was born on September 15, 1959 in Lancaster, Ohio.

She was a retied office manager for the Lancaster Parks and Recreation Department with 30 years of service.

Carol had a love for animals, taking long rides on the motorcycle with her husband and special friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and flowers.

Carol is survived by her husband of 20 years (June 24, 2006) Greg Russell; son Justin Bray of Lancaster; adopted son Damien Mahone of Lancaster; stepsons Dustin (Natalie) Russell of Texas, Tyler (Shannon) Russell and Kyle Russell all of Lancaster; grandchildren Harper Russell, Ellis Russell and Jo Jo Russell; sister Sue (George) Kauffman and Patti Coakley all of Lancaster; brother Jim Daubenmire of Texas; half-brother David Yates of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews along with her canine and feline companions Marley, Minka, Mango, Icey, and Tails.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Maude Daubenmire.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the FHP, Hematology and Oncology Office and Fairhope Hospice for their love and care passed on to Carol.
