Charles Steven Mansberger, 65 of Circleville, Ohio, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 27, 2023 after a short illness. Steve was born September 1, 1957 to Walter Swick Mansberger and Margaret Elizabeth Flick in Lancaster Ohio.
Steve was saved and baptized. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. His uncle Jim taught him to play the guitar at the age of 12, and he continued to play music the rest of his life. He was a care giver for many years and worked for Walmart as a support manager before becoming disabled. When he wasn't playing music, he loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Swick Mansberger and Margaret Elizabeth Flick-Mansberger; sister, Alice Faye Mansberger; brother, Walter Junior Mansberger; brothers-in-law, John L. Enmen and James Dicken.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Nicole M. Mansberger; sisters, Linda Enmen and Kay Dicken; sons, Bobby Mansberger and Chad Mansberger; daughter, Heidi (Mike) Spears; grandchildren, Brenden Mansberger, Tristian Mansberger, Makayla Mansberger, Ashlee Justice, Traesaun Moss, Summer Spears, Landon Spears, Austyn Spears.; great grandchildren, Amaylla Smith, Jesamae Smith, Ezaryen Gaines, Paxsin Music; and many extended family and friends.
A funeral service will take place on August 4, 2023 at 11:30 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster OH, 43130, followed by burial with military honors at Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and again from 6-8 PM on Thursday, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
