Cora Marie (Green) Landis

Cora Marie Landis, formerly of Baltimore, Ohio, age 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Arbor at Carroll.  Marie was born on November 21, 1925 in Rutland, Ohio, the only daughter of the late Pearl Green and Lillith (Cameron) Green.  She was a graduate of Liberty Union High School, class of 1943. She worked as a waitress most of her life and retired from the 37-70 Truck Stop in 1987.  Marie attended New Life Christian Center and River of Life Center. She especially loved her family and friends.

Marie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Judith Landis; grandchildren, Chris and Julie Landis, Craig and Lisa Landis; great-grandchildren, Miranda (Aaron) Robbins and Conor Colburn; great-great-grandchildren, Gannon, Nolan, Braxton, Cohen and Gryffin; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Landis; son, Larry Andrew; daughter, Linda Kay; parents and brothers, Pearl Green Jr., Charles, Ralph and Elmer Green.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 12 Noon at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Pastor Gary Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Basil Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.  Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
