Curtis S. Fier, Sr.

Curtis S. Fier, Sr. 71 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1955 in Akron, Ohio to the late James R. and Martha Fier.

He worked as a window installer for residential homes for Malta Man Co. Curtis enjoyed his woodworking and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Curtis loved all types of music.

Curtis is survived by his son Scott (Hallie) Fier, Jr.; step-sons Jeremy Cone and Justin Cone; step-daughter Heidi (Craig) Perkins all of Lancaster; grandchildren Miles Alexander Fier, Emily Perkins, Korida Cone, Jax Cone, and Delilah Cone; sisters Cevan Sobeck of Canton and Claudia (Ens) Bruegmann of Germany and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Clint Fier.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Lancaster, Ohio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
