Danny "Joe" Caldwell

Danny “Joe” Caldwell, 59, of Lancaster, passed away on January 25, 2022 at the Fairfield Medical Center.

Joe was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army.  He loved his family, all animals, and he really enjoyed fishing

He is survived by his mother, Fran Murphy; partner for over 35 years, Brenda Williamson; children, Penny Williamson, Ted Williamson, and Jennifer Gardener; grandchildren, Halli Shutts, Jarik Shutts, Keria Williamson, and Karlee Mckenzie; great grandson, Enzo; several step-siblings;uncle, Jim Murphy; and loving cat, Peanut.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Caldwell; step-father, Robert Murphy; and step-brother, Bobby Murphy.

A funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNEAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends may visit from 12 PM until the time of services on Sunday. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we ask that all guests please wear a mask while visiting the funeral home.
