Debbra Courtney

Debbra Courtney, 70, of Baltimore, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on August 22, 2026. She was born to the late Grady and Jewell Collier on June 7, 1956, in Columbus, OH. 

Debbra lived for her family. As a loving mother and grandmother, she leaves a place that is hard to fill.

She is survived by her children, Gary Courtney of Reynoldsburg, OH., Rick (Josh) Courtney of Baltimore, OH., Crystal Courtney of Baltimore, OH., and Mike (Cindy) Courtney of Baltimore, OH. Grandchildren include Tanner (Jessica) Turner, Mya (Jake) Howard, Mikaela (Hunter) Knox, Justin (Tyler) Hochradel, Michael Courtney, Brianna Collier plus 20 bonus grandchildren. Great grandchildren include Bentley, Gracie and Charlotte; sisters, Ada (James) Searles, Juanita (Bob) Curnell and Cathy (Harry) Benson; brother, Ron Collier; and several nieces and nephews including Jeff Cottrill. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary “Kosher” Courtney; granddaughter, Alisha Courtney; sisters, Linda Collier, Mary Curnell, Karen Legg, and Donna Fuller; brother, Donald Collier; and her parents. 

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jill Dunlap will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S Main St., Baltimore, OH 43105. Burial will follow in Basil Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.
