Dolores M. Yanuzzi

Dolores Papada Yanuzzi of Lancaster, Ohio peacefully passed away at her home on June 27.

Dolores was born on December 26,1938 to Mary (Joseph) and James Papada in Hazleton, PA. After Dolores graduated from Hazleton Senior High School, she went on to study nursing at Hazleton State Hospital. Dolores also received a degree from Misericordia University. She served as a school nurse for the Hazleton Area School District.

Dolores married the late Peter Yanuzzi in Hazleton, PA July 13, 1963. Pete's career took them to Lancaster Ohio where they made their home. Dolores was an active participant in church activities and loved traveling - especially her many pilgrimages to Medjugorje.

Dolores is predeceased by her husband Pete, her parents Mary and James Papada, her brother James Papada II, and her sister Ann Polli. She is survived by ten nieces and nephews. Her memory remains in the hearts of many.

Funeral mass will be held July 11 at 10:30 AM at The Basilica of St Mary of the Assumption
