Francis "Howard" Slonaker

Francis “Howard” Slonaker 82 of Centerville, Ohio former resident of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was a retired engineer for Dupont Corp. in Circleville, Ohio with 34 years of service.  He was a very active member of the Lancaster Seventh-Day Adventist Church where he held several different serving positions and was a former 4-H Advisor.

Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra L. Wooster Slonaker; children, Patty (Todd) Diener of Centerville, Ohio and John (Julie Conley) Slonaker of Thornville, Ohio; brother, Robert O. (Yu Liu “Cathy”) Slonaker of Newark, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Olivia Slonaker.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Pastor Pam Farley officiating. A live broadcast of the funeral service will be hosted on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. on the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page.  Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
