Gwendolyn Miller Kerns 95 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at Altercare Valley View Nursing Home.
She was a retired housekeeper. She was a member of Hocking hills Church of Christ and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her step-children, Pastor David (Joan) Kerns of Lancaster, Ohio and Phyllis Cade of Indiana; 7 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren; brother, Robert Swartz of Lancaster; a special niece, Donna Ray Anderson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence Miller and Frank A. Kerns, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor David Rawls officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
