Herbert Keith Wagner

Herbert Keith Wagner, 85, passed away on July 14, 2025 at the Luxe Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lancaster, OH. Keith was born on April 15, 1940 to the late Herbert William and Frances Vaughn Wagner.

Keith attended Berne Union school. He worked with his father Herbert as a well driller and water system installer until November 1969. Keith was employed 35 years at Diamond Power International as a master craftsman welder. He loved country living, tractors, dozers, backhoes, the Fairfield County Fair, and eating Berne Union Rockets’ food under the Grandstand. Bob Evans and Tee Jayes were his favorite dining locations. Keith also enjoyed square dancing and snow skiing.

He is survived by his younger brother, Willis Wagner of Burlington, KY; nieces, Tangela Kellenbarger, Janelle (Timothy) Solt, Jodelle Finnefrock, Penny (Douglas) Kilbarger, Polly (Kevin) Myers, and Wendy (Gregory) Niehauser; and fourteen great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Miles Reynolds, sisters, Phyllis (Paul) Finnefrock and LeeAnn (Richard) Van Arsdalen; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Wagner. 

Special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio Nurses Tangela Kellenbarger, Anne Morehead, Social Worker Susan Collins and Hospice Aide Briana Truog for taking excellent care of Keith while he was at Luxe. The family also wants to express their gratitude to niece Polly Myers (caregiver) who was instrumental in managing Keith’s estate and sale of his home.
