Helen Ethel Friesner "Cookie"

Helen Ethel (Keller) Friesner “Cookie” 80 years old of Baltimore, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, with her family at her side, from complications of a massive heart attack.

Cookie was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on April 21, 1945, to Howard and Marian Keller. She grew up on her family farm and attended Liberty Union High School, class of 1963. Cookie studied nursing at Mount Carmel School of Nursing. She devoted her life to the service of others through nursing and her faith.

Cookie is survived by her loving children Jacob (Sara) Friesner, Joshua Friesner, Joseph Friesner, and Jana (Nic) Beveridge; grandchildren; siblings HG (Leah) Keller, Chuck (Karen) Keller, Frankie (Tim) Phillips, Margy (Mike) Hite, Barbie (Chuck) Reese; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Friesner; parents Howard and Marian Keller; brother David Keller; and baby sister Charlotte Keller.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Christ United Methodist Church, 700 South Main Street, Baltimore, Ohio 43105.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
