Helen M. (Barnhart) Spangler

Helen M. Barnhart Spangler, age 78 of Lancaster, died October 23rd, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born to the late Hugh and Martha Baker Barnhart, on September 27, 1944 in Royalton, OH.  Helen enjoyed quilting and crocheting.  She was a devoted mother, who loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her amazing personality and love for life will be greatly remembered.

She is survived by her children, Herbert Thomas, Harry Thomas, Jennifer (Bryan) Harmon, Martha Spangler, and Betty Spangler; grandchildren, Thomas, Heather, Anthony, Sebastian, Leo, and Helen; great grandchildren, Elliot, Layne, Nora, Freya, Luke, Dominic, and Aria; brother, Robert Barnhart; and several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Spangler Sr.; her parents; siblings, Donald (Betty) Barnhart, Franklin Barnhart, and Ann Nichols.
