Jack L. Congrove

Jack Lee Congrove, age 85, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on January 22, 2021 at Mt Carmel East.

He was born August 6, 1935 in Pickerington, OH.  Jack was one of 10 children born to the late Ralph and Mamie Congrove. His siblings are Joan and her husband Howard (both deceased) Weaver, Betty – deceased (Eugene) Slone of Baltimore OH, Richard – deceased (Carol) of Baltimore OH, Eldora (Leon – deceased) Green of TX, Mary and her husband Roger (both deceased) Barrett, Wayne (Jo) of Reynoldsburg OH, David (Kathleen) of Lancaster OH, Linn (Harold) Crutcher of MI, and Rebecca Magill of Reynoldsburg OH..

Jack is survived by his sons Richard of Roanoke VA and David (Laura) of Rockledge FL,  grandsons Ian, Matthew, and Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

Close Lady friend Joyce. Close friends; Susan and Michael Castle Jr. (mother and father of his best friends) Ayla, Amy, and Michael Jr. of Minersville PA.

He graduated from Pickerington High School in 1953. Served in the U.S Navy 1955-1959. While serving our country in the U.S Navy, Jack attended the Class A Machinist School to become a Machinist Repairman. He trained machinist on ships.

Jack worked at Wexco from 1977–2000. During that time, he was Vice President and General Manager of the company from 1977-1985 and then became President of Wexco from 1985 until his retirement in 2000.

He loved drag racing, golfing, and VA Tech!

Caring Cremation has taken place through the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, OH. Burial will be at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest, VA.
