James Seddon Allen lV passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on October 29, 2025 at the age of 49.
James loved being outdoors and was a passionate photographer. He enjoyed being behind the camera capturing nature, downtown skylines, sunrises, sunsets, bridges and even spiders. His photographs not only reflected his artistic talent, but his appreciation for the world around him. He found joy in walking the Scioto Mile and kayaking. He was a budding woodworker and loved to make things for his family and friends. He would often be found playing corn hole at family gatherings and was a favorite among the family's kids. A proud Tennessee Volunteers fan, James cheered on the "Big Orange" every season.
Above all, James was a devoted father to his daughter, Casper. She held a special place in his heart. James also cherished time spent kayaking or fishing with his stepchildren, James, Cole and Audrey. Together they all shared adventures, laughter and love- memories that will live forever in their hearts.
James is survived by his wife, Amy; daughter, Casper; son, Noah (Kim); granddaughter, Silvia; stepchildren, James, Cole and Audrey; and siblings, Daniel (Elizabeth), Joshua, Thomas (Shelly), Johnathan (Jayme) and Melissa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda Holley and James Allen lll; and brother, Joseph.
