James “Jim” Leasure, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on March 3, 2024. He was born to the late Glenn and Dorothy Mae Leasure on January 15, 1946.
Jim, a 66 year resident of Fairfield County, graduated from Fairfield Union in 1963. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1965-1966 until he was medically discharged. Following his time in the military, Jim worked for Lucent Technologies for 37.5 years until his retirement. Jim enjoyed spending his free time with his family and dogs.
He is survived by daughters, Tina and Debra “Debbie” Leasure of Lancaster, OH; 3 Grandson’s, Curtis Milam III, Lancaster, OH, Anthony (Keri Woltz) Bibler of Logan, OH, and Eric (Cassidy) Bibler of Baltimore, OH; 6 Great Grandchildren, Brayden Lucas, Addelyn Milam of New Lexington, OH, Liam Courtney and Kenzley Vermillion of Logan, OH, and Emma and Eleanor Bibler of Logan, OH; and his best companion, (dog), Maddie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn “Bill” and Dorothy Leasure; infant son, William; and his wife, Diane Leasure.
