Janie (Scott) Hamlin

Janie Hamlin, 71 of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

She had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Talbit Hall in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of Lima Township Seniors Citizens.

Janie was a beloved wife, aunt, friend and surrogate grandmother, Janie was creative and selfless in her memory making with her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Schooley; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Mitch Harville) Voit, Tyler (Jessica) Voit and Edward (Tammy Westfall) Voit and other nieces and nephews; great nephews, Blake Harville and Maddox Harville and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elsie Scott, sister, Martha Voit and brother, William Scott.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO. A Celebration of Life service at a later date.
