Jeanne Elizabeth Sanders 73 of Thornville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in South Dakota on July 2, 1952 to the late George and Jean Maxwell.
She loved animals of all kinds and enjoyed watching TV.
Jeanne is survived by her children John Maxwell, Michelle L. (Carl) Schmus, and Charissa (Joseph Scott-Ousley) Ousley-Scott; grandchildren Brittny Nutter, Carl Schmus, Jr, Nickolaus Scott, and Brodrick Scott-Juniper and brothers William Maxwell and Robert Maxwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Gene (Too Tall) Sanders, parents and a brother Jeffrey Maxwell.
Caring Cremation® is being handled by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Lancaster, Ohio.
