Jenny Belle Barnes 73 of Lancaster, Ohio died Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Pickering House. She was a member of the The River Valley Life Center and Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles E. Barnes; children, Terry A. (Barbara) Perry of Amanda, Ohio, Karen S. (Stephen) Price and Cindy K. (Chad) Benson all of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Kyle A. (Amy) Perry of Dublin, Ohio, Christopher S. (Bethany) Price of Hartville, Ohio, Amber N. Barnes of Columbus, Ohio, and Zachary A. Benson of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Carolyn (Larry) Starner of Lancaster, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stephanie Marie Price, father and step-mother, Pearl and Eileen Elick, mother, Eva Elick, brother, Lewis “Butch” P. Elick and sister, Leota Sowers.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at The River Valley Life Center with Pastors Paul Bishop and Christopher Price officiating. Friends may visit Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
