John Davis

John W. Davis age 89, of Lancaster died August 27th, 2016 at Lanfair Rehabilitation. He was born to the late Lawrence and Bertha Hickok Davis on June 3rd, 1927. He served his country in the U.S. NAVY. He was a lifetimetime member of the Masons, was past Treasurer and President of the Ohio Cosmetology Association. He retired as an assistant auditor at the Franklin County Auditors Office.
John is survived by his loving wife of 60+ years, Laura Dexter Davis; children, Brent W. Davis, Glen R. Davis, and Lori (Chris) Kette; grandchildren, Carole (Leroy) Clark and Zachary Kette; brother, Kenneth (Charlotte) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial of the cremains will take place at Mound Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made in John's name to FairHoPe Hospice 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, OH 43130.
