Biography
John F. Jack Wharton, 82, of Lancaster, died on Monday, October 3, 2011, at the Pickering House.
Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Wharton; children, Jeff Wharton, Jim (Pam) Wharton, Bill (Lori) Wharton, Clarise (Bill) Raymond, and Scott Wharton; grandchildren, Ryan (Cindy Kraft) Wharton, Jon Wharton, Katelyn Harcha; and special canine companion, Pandora.
Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Wharton.
A celebration of Jacks life will take place with an informal gathering of family and friends from 2-5 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at RUSHVILLE UNION LIONS CLUB, 2960 Logan Thornville Rd NE, Rushville, Ohio 43150.
Caring Cremation has taken place with the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FairHoPe Hospice / Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
