Jordyn Philip Grine, age 33, a professional tattoo artist and lifelong resident of central Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2023 due to complications arising from a car accident.
He is survived by his wife, TeAnne E. Grine; father, William Grine; mother, Andrea Bailey; grandfather, Bryce Peck; grandmother, Jan Bailey; sister, Sonya Grine, brothers, Cody and Lukas Grine; sisters, Rose and Jade Bailey. Jordyn also had countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jordyn was preceded in death by his mother, Terri Ann Grine, grandmother, Marty Peck; and sister, Colleen Grine.
Jordyn Grine was born December 20th 1989 and raised by his adoptive parents William and Terri Grine. Jordyn was a very active child involved in boy scouts and many other sports.He was a Liberty Union soccer player and referee. He exhibited artistic talent from a young age. He could sing, play guitar, paint, and tattoo among other countless artistic abilities. He followed his dream of being a professional tattoo artist and held a valued position at the prestige tattoo shop Evolved. Jordyn has left permanent marks and touched thousands of lives through his art.
Jordyn helped the homeless and attended spiritual sweat lodges to open up his view of the world. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and friends. He always felt the need to create something or to be doing something. He lived by his statement of "create or die".
Caring Cremation has taken place through the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on May 27, 2023 at 2pm with calling starting at 1PM at Crossroads, 2095 W. Fair Ave. Lancaster, OH 43130.
