Judy A. Baird

Judy A. Baird, a beloved figure in her community and a cherished matriarch to her family, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 12, 1943, in Violet Township, Ohio, Judy devoted her life to her family and her career as a dedicated cashier at Lowes, where she served for 15 years before retirement.

Judy's love for family was evident in all she did. She cherished countless moments spent with her daughter, Chrissy Everett of Lancaster, and her granddaughter, Brielle (Brandon) Naylor of Amanda. As a proud great-grandmother, Judy delighted in the joy her great-grandchildren brought her – Alaurah Brumfield, Weston Brumfield, Brexton Naylor, and K.J., with another on the way.

In addition to her immediate family, Judy shared a close bond with her sister, Carolyn Graves of Lancaster, who will miss her dearly. Judy was surrounded by love from several nieces and nephews, as well as her best friend, Stella, who offered her companionship throughout the years.

Though Judy faced the heartache of losing loved ones, including her son, James Everett, and her parents, Guy and Alma Phillips, she found strength in her cherished memories. She also grieved the passing of her sister, Shari Otey, and her brother, Edward Harrel. Despite these losses, Judy remained a pillar of love and resilience for those around her.

Judy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life – spending time with her family, watching television, and dining out. Her joyful spirit and generous heart left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be remembered not only for her unwavering dedication to her family but also for the warmth she brought into the lives of everyone she met. Judy A. Baird will be deeply missed but will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.
