June Miller, beloved teller at Fairfield National Bank for 46 years, has passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023. She was a caring and compassionate person who adored animals, especially her cats. June's warm personality made her well-liked by everyone she encountered. She had a gift for remembering each person she interacted with at the bank and her contagious laugh will be remembered by all.
Born on November 16, 1932, June grew up on a dairy farm where she spent her childhood assisting with the daily chores. She cherished those memories and often spoke fondly of her time working on the farm. After graduating from Liberty Union High School in 1951, June joined Fairfield National Bank as a teller and dedicated herself to the institution for an incredible 46 years.
One of June's proudest accomplishments was being a drum majorette at Liberty Union High School. Her talent and dedication were evident in her performances. Following high school, June began her career at Fairfield National Bank right away and it turned out to be a lifelong commitment that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
In addition to her career achievements, June had a passion for solving puzzles of cats. She derived great satisfaction from completing these puzzles and enjoyed the intricate details they presented.
June's love for her family was immeasurable. She was preceded in death by her father, Eldo Miller, and mother, Pauline Conrad Miller, along with her sister Marjorie Ann Grooms. She is survived by her sister Pauline Miller, brother Robert E. and his wife Donna Miller, sister JoAnn and her husband Earl Fauble. Additionally, she is survived by nieces and nephews Larry and his wife Sonna Miller, Brenda and her husband Mike Messmer, Linda and her husband Johnny Johnson, Teri and her husband Mike Soliday, Joy Fauble along with several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services to honor June's life will be held at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, OH on Wed. Nov. 8th at 11AM. The Funeral Service will take place on November 8, 2023, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM and the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Union Evangelical Cemetery.
June Miller's legacy will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. Her kind and gentle spirit, dedication to her work, and affection for animals left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace as we bid farewell to a remarkable woman who brought joy to many hearts.
