Karen S. Lamb

Karen S. Lamb, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on September 20, 1959, in Lancaster, Ohio, Karen was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Mary Elizabeth Marcinko Bibler. Throughout her life, Karen epitomized strength, devotion, and compassion, qualities that defined her presence and also the legacy she leaves behind.

Karen’s journey was shaped by her unyielding spirit. She met life’s challenges with courage raising four children and a grandson, all under her watchful and loving care. Her home was a place of comfort and laughter, where the importance of family was always evident. Karen’s nurturing presence was especially felt by her children: Suzanna (Corey) Miller, John (Elizabeth Trussell) Lamb, the late Joseph Lamb and Adam Michael Lamb. To her grandson, Robert (Mary Coss) Lamb, she was more than a grandmother, she was a guiding light and a source of unwavering support. Her nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren were always greeted with warmth and affection, finding in her a steadfast pillar to lean upon.

Karen’s kindness extended beyond her immediate family. Her dear sister Linda McDonald shared an unbreakable bond with her. Close friendships enriched Karen’s days, and best friends LeAnn and Todd Grubb were among those she treasured most. Even her faithful kitty cat, Sammy Joe, was a testament to the caring nature that radiated from her heart.

Karen’s zest for life was reflected in the simple joys she pursued. Bowling brought her laughter and camaraderie, while the outdoors beckoned her with its beauty. She was happiest on the shores of the ocean, the sound of waves whispering peace and renewal. Ever mindful of life’s little wonders, Karen took delight in the sighting of a cardinal a gentle reminder, perhaps, of those who had gone before.

As Karen joins her parents, her beloved son Joseph Lamb, brothers John R. and James Bibler, brother-in-law Roger McDonald Sr. and ex-husband John Lamb in eternal rest, she leaves behind a tapestry of love and memories . Those blessed to know her were witness to a life lived with courage, generosity, and heartfelt joy.

Family and friends may visit at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home from 11AM until 1PM, Monday August 3rd, 2026. A funeral liturgy will follow visitation, starting at 1PM at the funeral home and Caring Cremation will take place after the service.
