Karen S. (Collier) Legg 75 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in Columbus, Ohio at Grant Medical Center on August 25, 1950 to the late Grady and Edna Collier.
Karen was retired from the Pickerington Local Schools as a custodian with 17 years of service. She was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, spending time at Myrtle Beach and just any beach in general along with spending time with her family. She really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her daughters Pam Camp and Shelly (Clark) Raver; son Keith Legg all of Baltimore; grandchildren, Kayla (Stefan) Armintrout, Kelsie Legg and Brentley Raver; great grandchildren Liam and Ellis Armintrout; brothers Ronnie Collier and Tony (Joyce) Stansberry; sisters Kathy (Harry) Benson, Debbie (Gary) Courtney, Juanita (Bob) Curnell and Ada Collier; sister-in-law Judy George and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Red” Legg, parents Grady and Edna Collier and raised by Ada Sturgill her aunt, brother Donald Collier, sisters Donna (Bigie) Fuller, Janie Chapman, Linda Collier, Mary Curnell, niece Danielle Chapman and son-in-law Jeff Camp.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, Ohio with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
