In the very early morning hours of October 20th, 2026, our beloved daughter, sister, motherand wife, Kellie Anne Felton, ended her mortal journey here upon Earth and entered herHeavenly Father's Kingdom, welcomed by her Savior, Jesus Christ, and family who havegone before her. She is finally at peace, and for that we are grateful. She left this worldsurrounded by love and was received by that same love in Paradise. Her husband, John, was with her as she took her final breaths. Our light here on Earth may have dimmed, butthe stars of Heaven have increased in their brightness.Kellie was born on December 20, 1977 in Lancaster, Ohio to Keith and Valerie Kern. From the beginning, she was a passionate person with a loving heart, a strong spirit anddetermination, yet she also understood the importance of trusting others and allowingpeople to be there for her when she needed them. She graduated from WorthingtonKillbourne High School, beginning a life journey that would bring her many experiences, cherished relationships, and most importantly, the blessing of becoming a wife andmother. Kellie worked in lending at Huntington Bank, where she devoted herself to hercareer. She had a way of meeting life head-on with courage and conviction, while keepingher heart open to the people she loved. On May 25, 2018, Kellie married the love of her life, John Felton. Together they built alife rooted in love, family, and the memories they made along the way. It was abundantlyclear her greatest accomplishment and joy came from being a mom to her two sons, Brettand Kayden. They were her heart, her joy, and her greatest source of pride. She loved them abundantly, nurtured them endlessly, and wanted nothing more than to see them happy and thriving. She loved seeing her sons grow, and watching their bond of brotherhood strengthen. Shepoured herself into being their mother, creating memories, sharing adventures, and lovingthem in the way only a mother can. The love she gave her boys will remain with themalways, a part of who they are, and a reminder of just how deeply they were loved. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and in the things that brought her familytogether. A faithful OSU Buckeye football fan, on every touchdown they made, whetherhome or away, she would faithfully call her Father to join in celebrating. She also was aGreen Bay Packers supporter and loved cheering on her teams. Her all-time favoriteplayers were her Uncle Rex Kern, OSU quarterback and Brett Favre, GBP quarterback forwhom she named her firstborn son, “Brett”.Kellie was a wonderful cook, and her ribs and pork loin were among the meals that herfamily and friends will remember fondly. Food was another way she shared her love, bringing people together around the table and creating moments that would becometreasured memories. She loved traveling to Florida, enjoying the opportunity to get awayand make memories. She also loved trips to Cedar Point, where she could join her boys inriding thrill rides and embracing the excitement of the moment. Those adventuresreflected so much of Kellie: her enthusiasm, her willingness to live fully, and her love ofsharing experiences with her family. Above all, Kellie was a woman who loved deeply. She was a daughter who was loved, a sister who shared in the bonds of family, a wife whofound love and companionship, and a mother whose heart belonged to her boys. She leavesbehind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, lessons, and love that will continue to beshared for generations.Although her family and friends must now learn to navigate a world without her, Kellie'slife and love she gave are not lost. They live on in the hearts of those who knew her, in thememories of family adventures, in favorite meals shared around a table, in football gameswatched together, and in the countless ways she touched the lives of all of us and others. Our faith gives us comfort in knowing that this earthly separation is not the end. We takesolace in believing that Kellie has been welcomed home by her Heavenly Father andSavior, Jesus Christ, and reunited with loved ones who went before her. While our heartsache because we cannot hold her here, we find peace in knowing that she is no longersuffering and is finally at rest.
