Kenny Eckelberry

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Kenny Eckelberry, 65 of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He was surrounded by family when he passed away peacefully at 12:04 AM on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Kenny loved movies, music, and sports, but above all, he loved his family. Kenny and his wife, Sheri were fans of a good party. They frequently hosted cookouts, bonfires, and even the occasional wedding. Kenny was a craftsman that would often show affection in the form of handyman work. He always had a project cooking somewhere on his property.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Sheri Eckelberry; brothers, Jerald, Phillip, and Ronald Eckelberry;  daughters, January (Chris) Almaguer, Brandi (Brent) Hinks, Kendi (Curtis) Satterfield, and Raven (partner Kory Wingler) Eckelberry; and grandchildren, Celeste, Atticus, Harper, Radley, Gavin and Genevieve;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Eckelberry and Christine McKinney, and his brother, Dr Richard Eckelberry.

Friends and family can gather to pay their respects at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE OHIO 43105 on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 10:00-12:00. A brief service will start at 12:00 noon and burial will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Road NW, Lithopolis Ohio.
