Kristin Elizabeth Morris Kirkpatrick

Kristin Elizabeth Morris Kirkpatrick, 22, passed away on July 16, 2026, alongside her beloved husband, PFC Connor David Kirkpatrick, as the result of a tragic car accident.

She entered this world with joy on June 11, 2004, in Nashville, TN, the first child of Clint and Brooke Morris. Three cherished siblings followed soon afterward: Kyley, Journey, and Drew, and the four of them shared a close-knit bond. The family moved to Carroll, OH in 2008, and Kristin started Kindergarten at Liberty Union-Thurston in Baltimore. During her early school years she tried various sports, but in high school she found her true passions. She was a five-year member of the color guard, performing at football and basketball games. She was a member of the high school swim, track, and basketball cheer teams, and participated in the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church Youth Group. Kristin loved music in all forms: writing, composing, and singing. She lit up the stage as a vocalist in the Liberty Union Choir, Liberty Union Musical Theater, Millersport Community Theater, and Victoria Players Children’s Theater. She gave a truly memorable performance as Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical and enjoyed participating in school talent shows. Kristin was honored by her classmates as the 2021 Football Homecoming Queen. She followed her professional calling and was a cosmetology student at Eastland Career Center, passing her boards before graduation in 2022. Kristin worked at various Cookie Cutters locations in central Ohio and was known for the Disney shirts she wore each day. Her love of the arts was evidenced by her many tattoos, the first being a matching sleeve with her dad that she designed. Many meaningful ones soon followed.

Although they were both LU grads, with Connor graduating in 2023, their relationship didn’t begin until after high school. Their love was intense from the start, and they were soon inseparable. Six months later they were engaged during a trip to the Bahamas and married on September 9, 2025 in Fayetteville, NC. They took every chance to embark on new adventures, and were living in Spring Lake, NC while Connor was stationed at Fort Bragg and serving on active duty as a Private First Class, Parachute Rigger, in the United States Army. Kristin continued her career working at the nearby Great Clips. Kristin and Connor soon created a community of laughter and love with coworkers and friends, while maintaining close ties with their great friends back home. They were very much in love and it was them against the world. Their two cats, Minnie Millennium and Biscuit, were ornery and lovely additions to their family. A beautiful memory from the family trip this past June was seeing them truly thrive in their new home. Our Peanut will be loved and missed forever. No matter how.

Left to remember the light she brought into every situation and her amazing smile are her beloved parents and siblings; grandparents, George Morris, Janet Morris, and Jerry and Carole Hartel; many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins; amazing friends; and a supportive community here and in North Carolina.

Calling hours for Kristin and Connor will be August 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., at Liberty Union High School Auditorium, 500 W Washington St, Baltimore, OH, with a joint service and sharing of stories to follow at 3 p.m. Full military honors will follow the service.
