Larry Alvis

Larry E. Alvis, age 70 of Lancaster went to be with his Lord on April 11th, 2018 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Wayne and Joanna Oatney Alvis on June 25th, 1947 in Lancaster. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a machinist for 20 years at Arcair and then 20 years at Monty Packaging. He was a member of the American Legion and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra S. Alvis; children, Dustin Alvis, Joseph Alvis, and Holly (Tony) Watkins; grandchildren, Kay Alvis and Kyle Watkins; brothers, Randy (Sharon Parsley) and John (Eilene) Alvis; Larry’s twin sister, Sr. Linda Alvis; and several nieces and nephews.
