Larry Claffey

Larry L. Claffey, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on October 27, 2018 at Mt. Caramel East. He was born on September 9, 1937 to the late Charles and Relva Claffey.

Larry was a long time member of the Lancaster United Brethren Church. He loved his tractors, gardening, being outdoors, and above all, spending time with family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Claffey; children, Kimberly Ann (Brian) Friesner, Kristi Lynn (Peter) Heuerman, and Randy Lee (Darla) Claffey; grandchildren, Lillie, Emma, Katrina, Kate, Blaine, and Kendrick, sister-in-law, Mabel Claffey; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Claffey; and infant brother, Charles.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Greg Voight, will take place on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH, 43130. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home, and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
