Larry L. Marlo

Larry L. Marlo 78, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away, Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Pickering House.  He was born on January 30, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Belva Marlo.  

Larry was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a retired prison guard for the South Eastern Correctional Facility with 30 years of service.  Larry was a life member of the AMVETS and enjoyed fishing, walking, watching sports and a huge Raiders football fan.

Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Bernie Marlo; son, Larry L. (Leslie) Marlo of Laurelville; granddaughter, Madeline Marlo in the US Navy stationed at Great Lakes; sister-in-law, Nanci Marlo of Texas and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard A. Marlo, parents, sister, Julie Marlo and a brother, Harry “Mike” Marlo.

Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO.
