Larry Julius Shook

Larry Julius Shook, 70, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center. 

Larry was born in Sistersville, WV July 11, 1953 to Vernon Shook and Verna (Matthews) Shook. He was fond of bowling in his younger years. Larry was a gun enthusiast, and enjoyed shooting. Alongside these active pursuits, Larry liked to watch television, with NCIS being one of his favorite shows. He was also an avid reader. 

Larry is survived by his sons David Shook and Steve Shook; grandchildren Hannah Bookwalter and Brittany Shook; great grandchildren Peyslee, Rowyn, and Knox Bookwalter.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jerald Icenhower; sister Pauline Monfreda; and significant other June Marie Shook. 

Caring Cremation® is being handled by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
