In loving memory of Laura Jean (Bradley) Cope beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed suddenly the morning of September 13, 2026. She was born to the late Gerard Thomas Bradley and Elizabeth Jane (Seymour) Bradley on March 2, 1963, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Laura was a 1981 graduate of Rogers High school, then entered the workforce in bookkeeping, with a long-term tenure at Boshear’s Ford in Marshall, Michigan. Laura was currently employed and an integral part of AHA! Children’s Museum in Lancaster, Ohio. Laura’s true vocation was as a home maker and mama bear extraordinaire.
Laura was married to Curtis Carl Cope. She was a devoted mother to three children, Carlie Jean (Cope) Dolan, Garrett Walker Cope and Norrisha Ann Brown. She was also blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Ella Jean Boggess and Romi Michelle Hall. Laura is survived by her sister Anna Annese and two brothers, John Bradley and Richard Bradley, along with many nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, SueAnn (Bradley) Post, and two brothers Micheal Bradley and Thomas Bradley.
Laura was a one-of-a-kind woman. She touched so many hearts and always provided a safe place for anyone who needed it. Our home was filled with love and warm food. Her love for the beach was shown in her beachy knick-knacks and yearly trips to Nags Head North Carolina with the whole family, which was her happy place. Everyone together was her one true love. Her love for her family will never be forgotten.
