Leland Joseph Hoshor, cherished and beloved, was born into this world on September 23rd, 2025, yet he graced us with his presence for only a fleeting moment. Though he entered the world silently, the love that surrounded him in those brief seconds was profound and unwavering. He will forever be remembered by his loving mother, Brittany Bunkers, who held him close to her heart, and by his siblings, Ayden Bunkers, Hadley Bunkers, and Renleigh Hammer, who will carry the memory of their little brother with them always.
Leland's spirit will also be felt by his extended family, including his uncle Brandon "Bobo" Hoshor and aunt Jerica, as well as his grandparents, Cheryl and Larry Hoshor, who embodied the love and support that will echo through their lives in his honor. His great grandmother, Melissa Speece, and great grandfather, Thomas Drake, will keep Leland's memory alive in the stories and lessons that bind their family together. Great uncles Rich Hoshor and Gary Hoshor, along with his great aunt Ashley Carter, will always carry the thoughts of his brief stay.
In the hearts of all who loved him, Leland will remain a source of light and beauty. He is also remembered fondly by several other cousins, who join in a shared remembrance, carrying the essence of his spirit forward into their own lives.
The sadness that accompanies Leland’s passing is poignantly captured in the words of those who mourn him, echoing sentiments of love and loss. "I’m sorry . . . I could not stay. To laugh and cry and play with you, hold hands to cross the road, to swing the swing and dance barefoot. I’m sorry but I just had to go." Leland’s existence may have been brief, but the impact of his presence is immeasurable, his memory is a mark etched upon the hearts that embraced him.
As his family finds solace in the knowledge that he will forever be a part of them. Leland Joseph Hoshor may have departed, yet the love he inspired will continue to shine brightly, a reminder of the purest affection and the depths of connection that transcend all.
