Marguerite "Peg" Clagg

Marguerite “Peg” Clagg, age 96, of Lancaster, died at Heartland Fairfield Nursing Center Wednesday. She was a member of Maple St. United Methodist Church; a member of Women Of The Moose Chapter 434; she was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, and taught Sunday School; she was a very dedicated Mother and Grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Harold (Ellen) Clagg of Marble Head, OH; daughters, Nancy (William) Lohnes of Lancaster and Patricia Dawson of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Sarah Bowman; husband, Jesse Clagg; son, Gary Clagg; daughter, Betty Dunn, great-great-grandchild, Isabella Dawn; brother, Leonard Lacey; sisters, Ruth Botts, Gladys Kelley, Mary Minehart, and Kate Brady.
CARING CREMATION has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 27th at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Friends and Family may visit one hour prior to the service with a service conducted by the Women Of The Moose. Memorials can be made in Peg’s name to Heartland Hospice 6500 Busch Blvd. Columbus, OH 43229
