Marilyn B. (Strawn) Beougher Hock, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Howard and Florence (McGee) Strawn on May 3, 1939.
Marilyn was blessed with many talents and gifts and enjoyed sharing them with others through her piano and organ playing, singing, sewing, knitting, baking cakes and daily chats with family and good friends. Most of all she loved her family immensely.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Debbie (Richard) Sharp, Don Beougher and Dennis (Angie) Beougher; grandchildren, Adam Sharp, Abby (Andy) Fox, Kyle (Rachel) Beougher, Jason (Nicole) Beougher, Evan (Taylor) Beougher, Zack (Olivia) Beougher, Sarah (Konrad) Krispense, Ellie (Ben) Hogan, Mary (Klayton) Krispense, Caleb (Katlyne) Beougher, Lydia (Luke) Linton, Emma Beougher and Josh Beougher; great grandchildren, Grant, Drake, Brandi, Laynie, Wells, Hanks, Brooks, Allison, Jacob, Alan and baby Krispense due in June; brother, Earl “Butch” Strawn and brother-in-law, Fred (Sally) Beougher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of their three children, Donald Beougher; second husband, Patrick Hock; nephew, Mark Strawn; sister-in-law, Judy Strawn; and parents.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 11 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow at Maple Grove, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Monday, January 5.
If desired, the family requests memorials may be directed to FairHope Hospice or Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County.
