Mary Kathryn Marsh

Mary Kathryn (Flegm) Marsh, 90 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was born on March 6, 1935 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Howard J. and Mary Mildred Flegm.

She was a homemaker, baker, seamstress, gardener and an avid weed remover.

Kathryn is survived by her two sisters; Connie Fowler and Barb Sage, children; Karen Tillman, Thomas (Katie) Marsh, and David (Diencha) Marsh, grandma to eight; Tamara Haines, Cherisse Rader, Jennifer Marsh, Carl Marsh, Micki Castro, Emily Carben and Alaina White, great grandma to sixteen; aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and in law to Helen and Herb Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil L. Marsh and grandson Kyle Jacob Marsh.

The family is grateful to Kate’s special aid Lauren and also the wonderful staff at Bella Care Hospice.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Chaplain Greg Rosser officiating. The service will be live on the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY face book page starting at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
